Lake Michigan Credit Union (LMCU) in Lowell, Michigan, seeks a Personal Banking Advisor to act as a trusted financial consultant for members. You’ll assist with accounts, loans, and product recommendations, while delivering stellar service and building lasting relationships.

Cross-selling, attention to detail, and the ability to meet branch goals within regulatory standards are essential. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are required for success in a fast-paced, on-site

Qualifications

Three to five years of related banking experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Michigan Resident Producer Credit Insurance License required.
Ability to become NMLS-registered and obtain notary certification.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of LMCU products and services.
Proven ability to meet sales targets.
Ability to process consumer and business accounts and loans.

Responsibilities

Promote strong member interactions with a consultative approach.
Educate members on LMCU products and cross-sell loans, cards, mortgages and other services.
Set up new accounts, process loans, and provide financial solutions.
Build relationships to ensure member satisfaction and branch growth.
Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and safeguard member data.
Assist in branch operations and peak-time supervisor duties when needed.
