Job summary

Citizens Bank is seeking a customer-facing banking professional to provide trusted financial advice and build lasting relationships with customers in branches across New York. You will help customers with spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs and promote digital banking tools.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to work flexible branch hours, including weekends and evenings. Comprehensive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success with building relationships and referring products/services.
• Ability to use digital technology to support business goals.
• Problem solving and providing solutions to customer issues.
• Ability to collaborate with teammates and partners.
• Willingness to work flexible branch hours including weekends/evenings.
• Meet SAFE Act requirements including pre-employment checks and NMLS identifier.

Responsibilities

• Provide trusted financial advice to customers.
• Offer financial solutions for spending, saving, borrowing and investing.
• Promote digital/mobile banking tools and services.
• Build lasting customer relationships through excellent service.
• Coordinate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking teams for complex needs.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule checkups.
