Job summary

Citizens Financial is hiring Citizens Bankers to be the face of the branch, building relationships and offering trusted financial advice. You will help customers with spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs, using strong communication and problem-solving skills to tailor solutions.

You’ll guide customers to digital and mobile banking, collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking teams for complex needs, and conduct outreach to acquire new customers while adhering to

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience, demonstrating an ability to meet or exceed goals.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship.
• Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions.
• Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
• Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
• Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration.
• Self-motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
• Meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the pre-employment screening checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and provide trusted financial advice.
• Provide recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions for spending, saving, borrowing and investing.
• Introduce customers to digital and mobile banking apps and ATMs.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking partners for complex needs.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkup appointments.
• Follow all financial policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
