Job summary

Citizens Bank in our local branch seeks a Citizens Banker who will be the face of the team, getting to know customers and building lasting relationships by providing trusted advice.

You’ll use strong communication and problem-solving skills to recommend financial solutions across spending, saving, borrowing and investing, introduce digital banking, and collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking to meet complex needs.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED is required.
• 2 years of sales and customer service experience.
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify customer needs.
• Proven ability to build relationships and refer products/services.
• Experience using digital technology to support business goals.
• Problem-solving skills to provide solutions to customer issues.
• Ability to collaborate with teammates and partners.
• Self-motivated with multitasking ability.
• Must be able to work branch hours, including weekends/evenings.
• SAFE Act pre-employment checks and NMLS identifier required.

Responsibilities

• Provide trusted financial advice and build lasting relationships with customers.
• Use communication and problem-solving skills to recommend financial solutions.
• Tailor recommendations for goals like planning for the future or buying a home.
• Introduce customers to digital and mobile banking options (app/ATMs).
• Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking for complex needs.
• Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups.
