First National Bank Texas is seeking a customer-focused Teller to handle cash receipt and payment duties within a high-volume sales setting. You will assess customer relationships and promote bank products to support financial success.

Under direct supervision, you will follow policies, support new account goals, and participate in in-store prospecting while processing deposits, wires, and money orders with accuracy and integrity.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or currently in high school.
• Six months in retail or customer service preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Pass background investigation per company policy.
• Ability to work well with others in a team.

Responsabilités

• Provide exceptional customer service handling cash receipts and payments in a high-volume sales environment.
• Evaluate relationships and recommend bank products to support customers' financial success.
• Follow bank policies and supervisor directions.
• Help achieve monthly new account production as assigned by management.
• Participate in in-store prospecting within an active sales environment.
• Process deposits and pay funds, balance daily operations accurately.
• Receive cash and checks, verify amounts and endorsements.
• Examine cash to guard against counterfeit items and verify identifications.
• Enter transactions into computer and issue receipts.
• Sell and prepare money orders, cashier's checks, wires, and CDs.
• Process Western Union wires and cash advances.
• Cross-sell services and products to customers.
• Serve a diverse customer base, including a large Spanish-speaking population.
• Perform other tasks requested by supervisors related to bank operations.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance and punctuality.
• Approval limits aligned with established authority levels.
