Job summary

First National Bank Texas is seeking a customer service oriented teller to deliver exceptional service in a high-volume branch. You will handle cash transactions, process deposits and withdrawals, and promote bank products to help customers achieve their financial goals.

Candidates must be 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or currently in high school
• Experience in retail or customer service preferred
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Pass background check according to company policy
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service handling cash transactions in a high-volume environment
• Evaluate customer relationships and promote bank products and services
• Follow bank policies and supervisor directions
• Aim for monthly new account production as assigned
• Participate in an active sales environment and in-store prospecting
• Process deposits and payouts accurately and balance daily operations
• Receive cash and checks, verify amounts and endorsements
• Enter transactions into computer and issue receipts
• Sell and prepare money orders, cashier's checks, wires and CDs
• Cross-sell bank services to a diverse customer base including Spanish speakers
• Perform other tasks as requested by supervisors; maintain punctuality
