Fifth Third Bank in Spring Hill, TN is seeking a motivated Personal Banker I candidate. Selected individuals will complete a 4-8 week onboarding program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, culminating in certification to advance within the Retail Personal Banker family.

The role focuses on using consultative sales to identify and meet customer financial needs, develop relationships, and cross-sell across bank products while maintaining high ethical standards and risk awareness.

Qualifications

• College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or, combination of education and experience.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with sales activities to acquire new customers and cross-sell.

Responsibilities

• Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to identify customer needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products/services and recommend solutions.
• Proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic reviews.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities.
• Refer customers to partners to provide holistic financial solutions.
• Meet/exceed customer experience and production goals and drive revenue growth.
• Provide guidance to CSRs on sales and referral process.
• Promote customer satisfaction with a professional demeanor and communication.
• Follow risk policies and maintain confidentiality.
• Open/close Financial Center or Bank Mart as directed.
