Job summary

Fifth Third Bank in Brentwood, Tennessee is seeking a Retail Personal Banker I to begin after a 4-8 week onboarding program that includes rotations in operations and Sales & Service. The Personal Banker I supports a consultative sales process to identify customer needs and deepen relationships across households and small businesses.

You will process teller transactions, participate in cross-selling, and collaborate with Banking partners to deliver holistic financial solutions.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer households and cross-sell to existing customers.
• Must demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
• Professional appearance and strong verbal/written communication.
• Understanding Retail policies and procedures to exercise good judgment.
• S.A.F.E. Act registration at time of employment through NMLS.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales process to build customer profiles and identify financial needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products/services and recommend solutions.
• Proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for financial reviews.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities.
• Collaborate with partners to provide holistic financial solutions.
• Meet/exceed customer experience and production goals; drive revenue growth.
• Provide guidance to CSRs on sales and referrals.
• Promote customer satisfaction with professional demeanor and discretion.
• Assist in opening/servicing the full range of Retail products.
