Job summary

Fifth Third Bank is launching a Retail Personal Banker I program in Columbia, SC. Trainees rotate through operations and Sales & Service, culminating in a certification to qualify for the Retail Personal Banker family.

Qualifications

• Requires college degree or transferable work experience in a relevant field.
• Must have understanding of risk, ethics and compliance (S.A.F.E. Act registration).
• Willingness to travel for training and affiliate meetings.

Responsibilities

• Use consultative sales and needs assessment to build a customer profile and identify financial needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Retail products and services; recommend suitable solutions.
• Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities and events.
• Coordinate with partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, Investment) for holistic solutions.
• Meet or exceed customer experience and production goals; contribute to revenue growth.
• Guide CSRs on sales and referral processes; provide coaching as needed.
• Promote a positive, professional customer experience and maintain confidentiality.
• Adhere to Code of Conduct and policies; participate in lending and card processes.
• Assist in opening/servicing Retail products and manage fraud risk awareness.
• Travel for training and on-site program activities as required.
