Dieterich Bank is seeking a part-time Personal Banker for the St. Elmo, IL branch. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, opening accounts, guiding customers through online and mobile banking, and identifying financial solutions to meet client needs.

The position is 3 days per week, 8:00am–5:00pm, with rotating Saturdays. Hours are designed for a team-oriented environment where relationships with community members are valued.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in banking, financial services, retail, or similar face-to-face environment.
• Associate degree in Business or related field preferred.
• Dependable with the ability to work a rotating Saturday schedule.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service while creating a welcoming banking experience.
• Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing.
• Assist customers with online banking, mobile banking, and digital banking services.
• Open and maintain checking, savings, and other deposit accounts.
• Respond to account inquiries and resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Help customers identify banking products and services that fit their financial needs.
• Process account maintenance requests, including address changes and account updates.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with banking regulations and policies.
• Support branch operations and collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals.

Dieterich Bank is hiring a Part-Time Personal Banker for our St. Elmo branch!

If you enjoy building relationships, helping people reach their financial goals, and delivering exceptional customer service, we'd love to meet you.

Schedule:

• 3 days per week, 8:00am to 5:00pm
• Rotating Saturdays, 9:00am to 12:00pm
• Part-time position

Pay:

$15-$17 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

About the Role

As a Personal Banker, you will be the face of Dieterich Bank, helping customers with their everyday banking needs while building strong relationships within the community. You'll assist customers with account openings, transactions, online banking support, and financial solutions that help improve their overall financial well-being.
