Our client, a highly private UHNW household in Atherton, CA, is seeking an exceptionally detail-oriented and polished Personal Assistant to join a high-performing household team. This is a true PA role focused on personal logistics, purchasing, inventory management, wardrobe, gifting, travel preparation, and day-to-day coordination across multiple homes.
The ideal candidate comes from a high-end hospitality, private service, luxury, or similarly high-touch environment and is comfortable working behind the scenes with a high level of discretion and attention to detail. This is a formal, conservative, fast-moving environment where consistency, teamwork, resilience, and professionalism are essential.
What You’ll Do
- Provide hands-on personal assistance and logistical support to the broader EA/PA team.
- Manage purchasing, returns, exchanges, and detailed inventory tracking.
- Oversee and organize high-end art, gifting inventory, wardrobe, and personal items.
- Maintain consistency with highly specific preferences and standards across multiple homes.
- Communicate closely with team members to ensure requests, tasks, and priorities are handled efficiently.
- Assist with travel preparation, including packing and unpacking, organization, and ensuring all necessary items are ready.
- Support approximately 25% travel as needed.
- Assist with events, including setup, vendor coordination, and other logistical needs.
- Work collaboratively with the EA and PA team while serving as the onsite PA in Atherton.
- Provide backup and support to other team members as needed.
- Maintain exceptional discretion and confidentiality when handling private household matters.
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining a calm, positive, and solutions-oriented approach.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a high-end hospitality, private service, luxury, private household, family office, or similarly high-touch environment strongly preferred.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience and a thoughtful, service-oriented mindset
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
- Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Excellent communication skills and a polished, professional presence.
- Emotionally strong, resilient, and thick-skinned, with the ability to remain composed in a demanding environment.
- Highly collaborative and team-oriented with a willingness to jump in wherever needed.
- Comfortable working in a formal, conservative, and highly structured environment.
- Athletic or collegiate sports background is a plus.
- Strong judgment, discretion, and the ability to follow detailed preferences and established protocols.
- Willingness to travel as needs arise.
- Onsite in Atherton, CA
- Willingness to work a non-traditional schedule. Must be fully open to working any 5 days of the week, including weekends.
- Typical hours are approximately 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PMwith OT accessibility as needed.
