Bartlett Roofing in Spokane, WA is seeking a Permit Coordinator to manage permits, inspections, and project documentation across multiple markets. This role supports the Production team to keep projects compliant, on schedule, and ready for production.

You’ll handle building permits for residential and commercial roofing, coordinate inspections with municipalities, and ensure timelines align with project schedules while maintaining accurate records and learning new software as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Comfortable communicating with municipalities, inspectors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Obtain building permits for residential and commercial roofing projects.
• Coordinate and schedule permit inspections with local municipalities.
• Work closely with Scheduling and Production teams to align permit timelines with project schedules.
• Communicate with city and county offices regarding permit requirements and approvals.
• Travel to local permitting offices when in-person permit submission or pickup is required.
• Maintain accurate permit records and update project information within company software.
• Complete data entry and administrative tasks to support daily operations.
• Monitor permit status and proactively follow up to avoid project delays.
• Assist with additional administrative and operational duties as assigned.
