• One year of customer service experience handling the public with licenses and permits.
• Ability to research and maintain files and prepare routine reports.
• Knowledge of procedures for obtaining business, trade and occupational licenses and permits.
• Ability to work with diverse customers and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Complete intake and verify license/permit applications and documents.
• Perform data entry for applications, approvals, permits, licenses, and inspections.
• Schedule inspections using the permitting system.
• Assist customers at the counter with questions on licenses, permits, and payments.
• Interact with other agencies and city departments to obtain information and schedule activities.
• Research records to answer inquiries and payment histories.
• Prepare forms and records documenting applications and issuance of permits/licenses.
• Assist with affidavits and forms as needed.
• Provide information to customers in person and by phone.
