South West Plumbing is seeking a Permit Coordinator to coordinate, prepare, and track HVAC, electrical, and plumbing permits, ensuring accurate submissions and compliance with local regulations. You will work with dispatchers, managers, technicians, and municipal authorities to facilitate approvals and keep organized records.

The role requires permit pulling and tracking experience, strong coordination skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Permit pulling, tracking and management experience.
• Coordination experience.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with dispatchers and managers to schedule and file permits for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing projects.
• Prepare and submit permit applications to local city municipalities with complete documentation.
• Track status of permit applications and follow up with authorities to expedite approvals.
• Maintain accurate records of permit requests, approvals, expirations, and renewals.
• Communicate with project managers, technicians, and stakeholders to provide updates on permit statuses and resolve issues.
• Assist in developing and maintaining internal processes and documentation related to permit management.
• Stay informed about changes in building codes and regulations that may impact permitting.
• Develop and maintain relationships with municipal authorities, inspectors, and other key stakeholders.
• Provide administrative support to operations teams as needed.
