The role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance, license upkeep, and accurate record-keeping within an office setting. You will support the Permits Supervisor, coordinate with project managers, and foster strong relationships with inspectors and authorities to keep projects on schedule and compliant.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of permit management experience in electrical, HVAC, or plumbing.
• Strong knowledge of state and local permit regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate permit acquisition for electrical, HVAC, and plumbing projects across state and local jurisdictions.
• Assist the Permits Supervisor to maintain and renew company trade licenses and insurance documentation.
• Keep accurate records of all permits and licenses.
• Monitor changes in permitting requirements and provide guidance to the team on permitting processes and regulatory updates.
• Build and maintain relationships with inspectors and jurisdictional authorities.
• Review incoming projects to ensure submitted information is sufficient for required permits and compliance with best practices.
