Job summary

Blaze Heating, Cooling, Electrical & Plumbing - Triangle is seeking a highly organized Permit Coordinator to support HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Generator, and Drain operations. This full-time role ensures permits are obtained accurately and timely, inspections are scheduled, and projects move smoothly from sale to completion.

The ideal candidate is entry-to-mid-level, with experience in scheduling, dispatching, customer service, or permitting, and familiarity with ServiceTitan is preferred

Qualifications

• Entry-to-mid-level administrative experience in home services or similar fields.
• Experience with scheduling, dispatching, customer service, or permitting is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic software tools.

Responsibilities

• Obtain permits from local municipalities and regulatory agencies.
• Submit permit applications and supporting documentation accurately and timely.
• Track permit approval status and follow up when necessary.
• Schedule required inspections with municipalities and utility providers.
• Coordinate permit revisions and corrections when required.
• Maintain accurate permit records and documentation.
• Ensure all permit-related information is entered and maintained within company software systems.
• Monitor permit timelines and communicate project updates to management and field teams.
• Assist with project closeout documentation and final permit approvals.
• Maintain compliance with local permitting requirements and regulations.
