Job summary

Our Community Our Kids is seeking a Permanence Supervisor to oversee a unit of caseworkers and clerical staff. The role requires quick decision-making on child safety and permanency, ensuring individualized safety plans and treatment-based services.

You will interact with families, schools, courts, and community partners to promote protective care. The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in a human services field, at least two years in Foster Care/Adoption or related areas, and strong skills

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a human services field is required.
• A professional licensure in a human services related field is preferred.
• A minimum of two years working with Foster Care, Adoption, Kinship, Conservatorship, or a related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a unit of caseworkers and clerical staff with daily oversight.
• Ensure thorough, concise documentation and safety plans tailored to individual cases.
• Interact with clients, judges, attorneys, children, school personnel and other stakeholders.
• Develop, plan, and implement agency programs to enhance protective capacities.
• Prepare and present management reports and budget requests as needed.
