The role emphasizes inventory management, pricing accuracy, and daily interaction with customers to meet merchandise expectations. Prior experience in retail and some supervisory duties is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with cash accountability and security practices.
• Maintain perishable stock levels and merchandising standards.
• Train associates in presentation, freshness and pricing standards for perishable areas.
• Train associates in proper and safe handling of food per regulations.
• Record perishable markdowns and analyze causes to prevent recurrences.
• Ensure customer needs and requests are addressed promptly.
• Ensure sanitation standards and train associates in the Perishable departments.
