Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a detail‑oriented team member to check produce quality and manage daily inventory in a fast‑paced warehouse in Hickory, NC. You will remove spoiled items, repack cases, and ensure accurate inventory records while communicating with customers and vendors as needed.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED and 6–12 months related experience in inventory control or administrative tasks within a foodservice environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prefers 6–12 months inventory control or related administrative experience.

Responsibilities

• Check quality of designated produce and perform daily inventory.
• Remove spoiled or short-dated product from inventory.
• Repacks full cases into smaller sizes to reduce spoilage.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers professionally.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist in related duties.
