Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a detail-oriented team member to inspect produce quality, conduct daily inventory, and remove short-dated items. You will repack full cases into smaller lots and ensure proper dating and rotation at the pick locations.

You will interact with customers, vendors and co-workers in a professional, timely manner while supporting the department and company goals. The role requires teamwork in a fast-paced, perishable environment and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 6-12 months Procurement, warehouse and / or administrative experience in related area.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks on designated products and manage daily inventory.
• Remove spoiled or short-dated items and repack full cases into smaller quantities.
• Communicate with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally to answer questions promptly.
