Job summary

Performance Food Group (New) seeks an Inventory Control Coordinator to monitor and maintain accuracy and adequacy of inventories across operating locations. You will compile records of quantity, type, and value of materials and supplies, ensuring smooth distribution workflows.

Responsibilities include counting stock, reconciling records, preparing inventory reports, and monitoring shrink. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of inventory experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to communicate information accurately and apply strong math skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and intermediate general computer skills.
• Must be able to work scheduled hours and overtime as required.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, lift repeatedly during shift and lift up to 60–90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts inventory records.
• Compares inventories to office records or computer figures.
• Verifies calculations against physical count and adjusts discrepancies.
• Compiles receipts or disbursements of materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
• Monitors inventory rotations and makes recommendations as needed.
• Prepares reports such as inventory balances and cycle counts.
• Maintains shrink at or below company standard.
• Prepares list of depleted items and recommends action.
