Job summary

Stop & Shop in Northampton, MA is seeking a Perishable Manager to oversee Meat, Seafood, Deli, Florist, Produce, and Bake Shop operations. You will drive sales, maintain safety standards, and lead a diverse team to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years of supervisory experience in grocery, a related bachelor's degree, and a proven ability to develop staff while controlling costs. Regular weekends/holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in retail grocery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Meat, Seafood, Deli, Florist, Produce, and Bake Shop departments.
• Ensure departments meet or exceed sales and profit targets.
• Maintain high sanitation and safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Coach and develop perishable department team members and ensure development plans.
