Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be or become Certified Food Safety Manager within 90 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Manage the Perishable Department, including hiring, training and developing department associates
• Supervise department associates and conduct performance appraisals
• Daily management of labor and coaching to meet productivity targets
• Provide leadership aligned with Food Lion Guiding Principles and Core Values
• Support achievement of budgeted financial and operating results
• Maintain a customer-friendly, fast, flexible and safe shopping environment
• Ensure department appearance, safety, sanitation and product quality
