Food Lion in Plymouth, NC is seeking a Perishable Department Manager to support store operations and achieve financial and sales goals. You will hire, train and develop department associates while maintaining food safety and department appearance.

The role emphasizes strong communication with the store team, coaching, scheduling, and using company tools to monitor inventory, costs and performance to deliver fast, friendly service and a positive shopping experience.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to lead and develop department staff.
• Experience in store operations preferred.
• Ability to manage labor and scheduling.
• Understanding of inventory and safety procedures.
• Must be NR Food Safety Professional or willing to obtain certification within 90 days.
