Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Perishable Department Lead to manage produce, meat, dairy, bakery and other perishable areas in our store. You will support the Store Manager with inventory control, merchandising and strong customer service to drive sales and ensure safe work practices.

Responsibilities include maintaining stock levels, training associates in freshness and pricing, and safeguarding company assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year retail experience and 6 months supervisory preferred.
• Grocery store experience preferred.
• Food handling certifications as required by local regulations.

Responsibilities
