Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment; six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous lead experience and/or grocery store experience preferred.
• Attainment of required local and state food handling certifications, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with cash accountability and security practices.
• Follow SOPs and company communications.
• Maintain perishable stock levels using guides and orders.
• Train associates in perishable presentation, freshness and pricing.
• Ensure safe handling of food and sanitation standards.
• Record perishable markdowns and analyze causes.
• Record inventory levels as requested by Store Support Center.
• Provide excellent customer service and address needs efficiently.
