Dollar General is seeking a Perishable Department Manager to oversee the Produce, Meat, Dairy, Bakery, and related sections. You will assist the Store Manager with inventory management, merchandising, and ensuring safety and quality customer service.

The role involves training associates, maintaining stock levels, and enforcing food handling rules. Prior retail lead experience and食品 handling certifications are preferred.

Qualificações

• Ability to read diagrams, safety rules, and procedures manuals.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and percentages.
• Ability to learn and operate cash register functions and generate reports.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Willingness to obtain required food handling certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Store Manager in ensuring cash accountability and store security.
• Follow SOPs, policies, and procedures as outlined in manuals and communications.
• Maintain perishable stock levels using planograms and guides.
• Train associates in proper presentation, freshness, and pricing standards.
• Record perishable markdowns and analyze causes to prevent recurrences.
• Ensure customers' needs and requests are addressed promptly.
