Job summary

You will train associates, monitor perishable freshness, and maintain accurate records of stock and markdowns to minimize losses. Strong math, detail, and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, safety rules, and procedures.

• Experience with cash registers and generating reports.
• Knowledge of store financials, shrink control, and pricing.
• Familiarity with cash handling, deposits, and security practices.
• Understanding of perishable inventory and merchandising.

• Willingness to obtain required food handling certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with cash accountability and security.
• Maintain perishable stock levels using planning tools and guides.

• Record inventory and perishable markdowns, analyze causes.
• Rotate and re-pack perishable products to minimize waste.
