Job summary

Freeman Health System’s operating room is seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist in the intraoperative phase under the supervision of a registered nurse. Join a nine-suite OR with diverse specialties and a thorough orientation to prepare you for perioperative success. Full-time day shift, 6:30am–7pm.

Minimum requirements include graduation from a Surgical Technologist program or 2+ years scrub tech experience; AHA BLS within 60 days. Preferred CST certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Surgical Technologist program or has greater than two years of clinical practice as a Scrub Tech in a hospital setting.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the registered professional nurse, participates in the intraoperative phase of patient care.
