Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technician required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to sterile technique (gowning, gloving, draping).
• Demonstrates scrubbing skills and handles instrumentation with aseptic technique.
• Assists in transfer and positioning of patients.
• Supports room prep and equipment organization with the circulating nurse.
• Maintains and monitors the sterile field continuously.
• Maintains equipment and instrumentation in good working order.
• Responds to emergencies, prioritizes patient needs.
• Advocates for patient safety and rights.
• Uses sterilizers safely and correctly.
