Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Pennsylvania with current licensure.
• RNFA education program completed and CNOR certification achieved.
• Maintains ACLS and PALS certifications as required by department.
• Two years of current operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon with instrumentation and anticipate needs during procedures.
• Provide care in accordance with perioperative policy and standards of care.
• Perform in scrub and circulating nurse roles with minimal supervision by surgeon.
• Preoperatively assess readiness and ensure accurate chart documentation.
• Assist with medication administration intra-operatively as directed by the surgeon.
• Maintain asepsis, infection control, and safety throughout cases.
• Communicate effectively with PACU and perioperative team; participate in data collection for research.
