Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to join our surgical team in Texas. The RNFA will perform delegated medical functions in the perioperative setting and support the surgeon and circulating staff to optimize patient outcomes.

Required qualifications include a Texas RN license, RNFA credential meeting AORN standards, CNOR, and BLS with ACLS within 60 days of hire. A Bachelor's degree is preferred and prior peripheral OR experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing and completion of an RNFA program that meets the AORN standards for RN first assistant education programs.
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• First assisting in the operative suite and performing delegated medical tasks as an RNFA under the perioperative team.
• Contribute to perioperative patient care planning and ensure patient safety throughout surgery.
