Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the PreOp PACU role. You will assess patients before and after surgery, monitor during recovery, and perform perioperative care to ensure safe, effective anesthesia outcomes.

Collaboration with anesthesia teams and physicians is essential to plan and execute individualized care. Qualified candidates will have an RN license, at least one year in pre-op or PACU, and current BLS/ACLS credentials.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed to practice.
• One year of Preoperative or PACU experience required.
• Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS/PALS certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient’s preoperative and postoperative status per policy.
• Prepare for and manage patient recovery from anesthesia.
• Provide hand-off reports and collaborate with the care team.
