Symphony Care Alliance in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Registered Nurse for our Pre-Operative and PACU team to deliver safe, patient-centered care before and after surgery.

The ideal candidate has an active RN license, perioperative experience in pre-op and PACU, strong assessment and teamwork skills, and knowledge of anesthesia and pain management. BLS/ACLS preferred; you will educate patients and coordinate with surgical teams.

Qualificações

• Current RN license in good standing.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and prepare patients for surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs during pre-op and post-op phases, addressing changes.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Provide postoperative care including pain management, wound care, and recovery monitoring.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care instructions and recovery processes.
• Maintain a sterile and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
