Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking an RN Pre-Op & PACU to ensure patient safety throughout peri-anesthesia care. The role prepares patients for invasive procedures with education, health assessments, and individualized plans of care, and monitors patients after procedures, ensuring discharge instructions are understood.

Responsibilities include pre-procedure assessments, post-anesthesia monitoring, pain management, documentation, and maintaining CMS and clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Must have current BLS certification.
• Must have current ACLS certification.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Pre-procedure assessments and care planning.
• Prepare patients for surgical procedures and provide education.
• Monitor post-anesthesia patients and manage pain.
• Document care in the medical record.
• Adhere to CMS, safety, infection prevention and risk management standards.
