Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking an RN for Pre-Op & PACU to ensure patient safety across peri-anesthesia care. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, educating them, and monitoring post-anesthesia care, with thorough documentation and adherence to CMS and facility policies.

Responsibilities also include communicating with patients, physicians, and team members to optimize care, manage pain, and address emergencies as they arise. Current BLS/ACLS and nursing degree required.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications current.
• Active RN license in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-procedure assessments and develop a care plan based on patient needs.
• Prepare patients for surgical procedures and provide pre-operative education.
• Monitor post-anesthesia patients and manage post-operative pain.
• Document all care and interventions in the medical record.
• Recognize emergency situations and respond promptly with clinical judgment.
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, CMS and related standards.
