Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking an RN for Pre-Op & PACU to ensure patient safety across peri-anesthesia care. Responsibilities include pre-procedure education, health assessments, and developing care plans, plus monitoring post-op patients and facilitating discharge with clear follow-up instructions.

Strong emphasis on documentation, compliance with standards, and teamwork with clinicians and hospital partners to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Pre-procedure assessments and planning for peri-anesthesia care.
• Educate patients and caregivers; prepare for discharge post-op.
• Monitor post-anesthesia and sedated patients in PACU; provide pain management.
• Document care plans and interventions accurately in the medical record.
• Adhere to CMS, State, CDC, and AAAHC standards; ensure patient safety.
