Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking a Registered Nurse for the RN Pre-Op & PACU role to ensure patient safety across peri-anesthesia care. This position involves preparing patients for invasive procedures, providing education, and developing individualized plans of care.

In the PACU, you will monitor post-anesthesia patients, manage pain, assess discharge readiness, and document care. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork are essential to support physicians and hospital staff.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license issued by the applicable State Board of Nursing.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an associate's or bachelor's degree.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-procedure assessments and educate patients and families.
• Prepare patients for surgical procedures and document plans of care.
• Monitor post-anesthesia patients in the PACU and manage pain relief.
• Assess discharge readiness and provide post-operative instructions.
