Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited professional nursing program.
• Current Minnesota Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• PALS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Previous operating room and PACU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ health status to establish a baseline and develop a plan of care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate an integrated plan of care.
• Develop and evaluate nursing interventions tailored to patient needs.
• Execute independent nursing actions under physician supervision.
• Delegate tasks and supervise activities to support care plan implementation.
• Provide safe, effective nursing care that fosters a therapeutic environment.
• Advocate for patients to ensure best interests are represented.
• Coordinate care across settings and disciplines for seamless management.
