Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking an RN for the Gonda 15 Outpatient Procedure Center in Rochester, MN. You will provide direct patient care, coordinate peri-anesthesia services, and educate patients and families in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating care with anesthesiologists, maintaining patient safety, and applying evidence-based nursing practices. A BSN is preferred and prior PACU experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN, CCNE, NLN CNEA.
• One year of professional RN experience required.
• RN licensure with applicable state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the outpatient setting.
• Coordinate and deliver pre/post anesthesia care and moderate sedation under supervision.
• Educate patients and families and orient peers.
• Demonstrate leadership, communication, and critical thinking in nursing practice.
