HealthPartners is seeking a Registered Nurse for perioperative care in Minnesota. The role focuses on pre-op preparation, intraoperative coordination with surgical and anesthesia teams, and post-operative monitoring with clear discharge instructions.

You will work a 30-hour-per-pay-period schedule, with 10-hour day/night shifts and 4th weekend on-call. The position requires a Minnesota RN license, a BSN, and BLS on hire, with ACLS and PALS due within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (required).
• Two years of progressive care nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Licensed RN in Minnesota.
• BLS Certification on hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire.
• ICU experience strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

Under the direction of the Director, Department Manager, and supervisor the RN will assess, perform, document and evaluate professional independent nursing practice and perform related duties below:

• Confirms scheduled date and time of surgery with the patient or designated caregiver
• Admits patient to the perioperative area, assess patient and prepares the patient for surgery/planned procedure
• Receives and monitors the patient’s condition post procedure per PACU, SDS and SDEX orders
• Works collaboratively with surgeons and anesthesia team to assure safe, timely emergence for anesthesia
• Effectively communicates discharge instructions with patients and families for their post- operative care after discharge
• Other duties as assigned

Work schedule:

• 0.75 FTE (30 hours per pay period)
• Day/Night Shift
• 10 hour shifts
• Start times between 0530-0930
• Every 4th weekend on-call
• 1 holiday a year

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Two (2) years of progressive care nursing experience in an acute hospital setting
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse with the State of Minnesota
• BLS Certification upon hire
• ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire
• ICU experience STRONGLY preferred
