Job summary

Penn Medicine is hiring a Materials Service Partner in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, ISC department, located at Interventional Support Center. Full-time, shift 2, performing case cart preparation, stocking, and inventory control to support ORs across multiple sites.

Strong emphasis on accuracy, teamwork and reliability in a fast-paced hospital environment. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 0-1 years in OR supply chain within a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
• 0-1 years of Operating Room supply chain experience in a high-volume environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Pick instrument sets and surgical supplies for OR procedures and assess needs.
• Receive supply shipments, stock supplies in storage areas and return items as needed.
• Transport soiled and clean case carts within the ISC.
• Demonstrate courteous, respectful communication with IP staff and supervisors.
• Adapt work schedule when necessary to meet department goals.
• Share information and trends proactively and support change.
