Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking a Perioperative OR Coordinator I to support day-to-day OR activities across service lines. This role focuses on staffing, workflow efficiency, and process improvement within a 40-hour workweek (Mon-Fri, no weekends).

The coordinator helps staff development, monitors credentials, and coordinates with SPD and Perioperative leadership to standardize procedures. An RN with OR experience is required, with CNOR within 12 months and BSN in progress; sign-on bonus up to $20,000 is

Qualifications

• RN with OR nursing experience and eligibility to obtain CNOR.
• BSN in progress with expected completion within four years.
• CNOR certification required within 12 months of hire.
• Current AHA BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day OR operations for assigned service lines.
• Assist in staffing and scheduling to meet department needs.
• Lead CTMs, participate in RCA/action planning and audits.
• Collaborate with SPD, Perioperative units and leadership to standardize procedures.
• Support onboarding and competency tracking using OurDay and related tools.
