Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• Two years OR experience is preferred; orientation and specialty training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process.
• Adheres to Nursing Policies, Procedures, and organizational goals.
• Demonstrates competency in assessment skills (initial and ongoing).
• Performs pain assessments and intervenes to meet comfort needs.
• Plans clinical care based on patient needs and available resources.
• Performs care in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.
• Demonstrates competency in scrub and circulating roles.
• Maintains aseptic technique and infection control practices.
• Respects patient dignity and confidentiality.
• Ensures patient safety and uses proper body mechanics during movement of patients and equipment.
