Job summary

Requirements include NLN-accredited nursing program, LA RN license, BLS; ALS within 6 months; CNOR preferred. Must be available in-house within 30 minutes when on call and meet established perioperative standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN-accredited school of nursing.
• Current Louisiana RN license; BLS required; ALS within 6 months.
• Flexible shifts and on-call according to unit standards; ILCOR training accepted.

Responsibilities

• Care for a group of patients during designated time frame using the nursing process.
• Plan and direct care for patients undergoing operative and invasive procedures.
• Direct and supervise the surgical team members.
