Qualifications

• Graduate from a NLN accredited school of nursing.
• Current LA RN license.
• BLS required or obtained during orientation.
• ALS required within 6 months of hire.
• One year Surgery RN experience required but minimum of two years’ Surgery RN experience preferred.
• CNOR Certification preferred.
• Available in-house within 30 minutes when on call.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing operative procedures.
• Plan and direct care for each patient during surgical procedures.
• Direct and supervise the surgical team members.
