Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room at St. Anne Hospital in Ohio. The ideal candidate has a nursing degree (ADN/BSN) and an active RN license, with perioperative knowledge to support the surgical team.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team, and providing pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care to ensure a safe and efficient OR environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications or eligible.
• CNOR certification preferred, not required.
• Two years RN experience in Critical Care (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment.
• Observe the surgery and surgical team, ensuring a safe environment.
• Manage nursing care of the patient within the OR and coordinate with the team.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care, including discharge instructions.
