Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room to deliver exceptional perioperative nursing care within a hospital setting. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to assess patients, plan care, and ensure a safe and efficient operative experience.

The position requires an accredited nursing degree and active RN licensure, with preferred perioperative certifications.

Qualifications

• RN with critical care experience is preferred.
• Completion of OR internship program is preferred.
• Current RN licensure and basic life support certifications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment in the OR.
• Monitor the surgical team and maintain a safe environment.
• Coordinate perioperative nursing care from pre-op to post-op.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op and post-op care as assigned.
