Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an experienced Surgical Services RN to deliver comprehensive perioperative patient care in a full-time daytime role. The nurse collaborates with the care team, administers meds, and coordinates preop through discharge instructions to ensure optimal outcomes.

Requirements include an active RN license in Ohio (or compact) and a preference for CNOR, ACLS, and BLS qualifications. New grads may apply; 1+ years of experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Ohio or compact state.
• ACLS/PALS/BLS preferred or to be obtained per department requirements.
• CNOR is preferred for perioperative care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments and plan of care.
• Administer medications safely per policies and procedures.
• Coordinate care across surgical team and departments.
• Provide preop, intraop, and post-op patient care and discharge instructions.
• Support patient safety and participate in quality improvement.
