Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks a Surgical Services Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver comprehensive perioperative care across preop, intraop, and post-op phases. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, adherence to safety standards, and a focus on patient education and care coordination.

Full-time days/afternoons, Ohio location, with competencies in sterile technique, perioperative nursing, and critical care prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Current RN License in the state where working or eligible via compact
• BLS/ACLS or PALS preferred at hire
• CNOR and SGNA preferred
• 2 years of Critical Care experience preferred
• Completion of OR internship preferred
• Periop 101 training preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment with care plans.
• Administer medications safely according to policies.
• Coordinate patient care across hospital departments.
• Assist in OR and perioperative care from preop to post-op.
• Ensure sterile technique and aseptic environment during procedures.
